It is unusual to see them back to back and with the lower than normal temperatures so that the snow covers the ground for such a long time. We are warming up this coming week!gldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645803822598151817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-91282590993890433592015-03-06T09:46:44.151-06:002015-03-06T09:46:44.151-06:00Sandy, I even hung a feeder on the west side where...Sandy, I even hung a feeder on the west side where DH can watch them. That feeder is farther away but just maybe 15-20 feet. He still enjoys it. I should move the shepherds hook next to his window and relocate the feeder.gldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645803822598151817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-2551083189531566682015-03-06T09:45:14.962-06:002015-03-06T09:45:14.962-06:00Kris, hang in there! Unlike a slow cooker you bake at 450° and food cooks pretty quickly and browns nicely.gldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645803822598151817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-22743830393012824272015-03-06T09:42:05.769-06:002015-03-06T09:42:05.769-06:00The sun is shining brightly today; we are on our w...The sun is shining brightly today; we are on our way to a complete melting again.

Just bought some Florida strawberries!gldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645803822598151817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-36944208013508684902015-03-03T13:39:13.482-06:002015-03-03T13:39:13.482-06:00This much snow is unusual for you, right?

They aren't common in our area but we had a pair of them for three years year 'round which was very unusual. We just commented today that we haven't seen either of them all winter. I'm hoping they just decided to go south for the winter and will be back this spring.Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-44961734096851405702015-03-03T13:34:57.900-06:002015-03-03T13:34:57.900-06:00Glenda,

My large feeder is out past my garden, and it's impossible to watch the birds from inside the house. Great bird pictures, love them!!!!

Your chicken dinner looks inviting, were heading your way :) YUM!!!
Sandy Livesayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06183449816586125720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-57186305253039203092015-03-03T10:07:57.596-06:002015-03-03T10:07:57.596-06:00Way back I'm pretty sure I had a Romertopf cas...Way back I'm pretty sure I had a Romertopf casserole. I have no idea whatever happened to it. Hunkered down for some wet weather on top of the snow today. So tired of winter - and now too lazy to even cook to pass time. Your flock of cardinals sure appreciate the new feeding tree. Lovely birds.
