I made a small 8x8 one last weekend to try out an old 1940's recipe I had. Baked it too long but it was eaten anyway! We are having a cold rain today, perfect for a pot of stew. Once we get into warmer weather my soup pot gets put away!Joy Tiltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183952085695405635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-50928121675545524812011-03-07T10:05:36.735-06:002011-03-07T10:05:36.735-06:00Happy Birthday to your Dad-in-Law! Wow, peanut bri...Happy Birthday to your Dad-in-Law! Wow, peanut brittle and homemade ketchup--what a wonderful and original gift. I bet they both taste amazing.

BTW, thanks for visiting my blog. The socks are crocheted, not knit. When I made my first pair, I started with only one sock and it took me a year to get them both done. I learned there is a name for that: "Single Sock Syndrome." It's when you are so sick of knitting or crocheting the first sock that it takes you forever to getting around to the second sock. So, to combat that, I have decided to always do anything in pairs (mittens, too) two at a time. I just alternate back and forth--one needle, two separate balls of yarn.
Come by again!Mom2furhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09919967314390699344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-86519382802683667672011-03-07T01:41:27.641-06:002011-03-07T01:41:27.641-06:00Hi there - lovely to see you over on my blog and h...Hi there - lovely to see you over on my blog and hope you'll be back soon. You and they are lucky to have each other.

We got two nights of cold in a row, too. I just hate that because everything was budding out, I know they'll all bounce back (hopefully) but I was so giddy about the buds for some reason this spring. I hope my bulbs will bloom so I can know what they are exactly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3679123700391465393.post-34319823318042879642011-03-06T06:14:14.943-06:002011-03-06T06:14:14.943-06:00I love reading about the good relationship you hav...I love reading about the good relationship you have with your in-laws.
