I think the birds heard the weather forecast! They were in a feeding frenzy right after I filled the feeders yesterday evening. I just couldn't get the entire scene with my camera.
I like your pics thanks for sharing. I don't understand it either, but when the weather man is calling for snow here the little birds start gathering in the yard, looking for food, every time! Blessings jane
ReplyDeleteIt was a heatwave here this morning, 20 degrees! The snow is beautiful, really pretty but lots of headaches. How do people up North deal with this all winter? The birds are really feeding heavy to stay warm and my squirrels....they fill their back pockets when they belly up to the feeders! Have a good weekend and stay warm...
ReplyDeleteYour bird pictures are always beautiful. The stray cats in our neighborhood drive most of the birds away.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures! See you are up and at it after all that shoveling yesterday-you must have a strong back!
ReplyDeleteWe had 22 degrees this morning. I have a list so need to go to town for groceries, bank and post office. DH thinks my van would come back up our long hill but says I should take the 4-wheel drive pick-up to be on the safe side.
Take care and stay warm.
Dear Glenda ~ You ladies that shovel snow deserve some kind of award. I saw your post from yesterday and I was amazed. I saw another blogger's post about shoveling snow and I'm glad I do not have to do that.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't get anymore and have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Glenda...it is beautiful and holy bird feathers!!! That's quite a large crowd you entertain. I'm sure their senses, like other animals, say fill up!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteWonderfully beautiful as always. Love the many birds. Glad you don't have to worry about squirrels. They have created such a mess here.
ReplyDeleteI just can't get over all those birds!
ReplyDeleteYour place really does look beautiful in snow. I like it better in the summer, though. LOL
ReplyDeleteLook at all those birds!
